A Recipe (and a confession)

OK, I have a confession to make. I have only had ONE Pumpkin Spice Latte in my entire life. And I couldn't stand it.

There. I said it. Go ahead, hate me. ;)

But seriously, it was WAAAY too sweet, tasted like chemicals, and gave me a headache. So, I was feeling kinda left out, what with virtually everyone and their sister chugging these things from Sept. 1st until spring. So...being the resourceful (aka desperate) person that I am, I created a healthy, delicious (yes, I used both of those words in the same sentence) copycat PSL, flavored with none other than my little besties, ESSENTIAL OILS! (Remind me to tell you about these sometime.)

I tried a version with dried, powdered spices first, but the flavor wasn't strong enough, and I ended up with that nasty slurry of spice dregs in the bottom of the cup, effectively wasting the last mouthful. Essential oils to the rescue! Not only do you want these little guys boosting your immunity during this lovely time of year, but they taste absolutely, mind-blowingly amazing in this recipe. I call that a win-win. And when you make this (GO MAKE IT!!), I think you'll agree.​
