A:   Please reserve your session 4 to 6 weeks in advance. 

 

Q:  How do I book my session? 

A:  First, decide around what month you would like your photos done. Do you want a specific look that would depend on the season (winter/holiday, sunset, flowers, etc.)?  Next, contact me to schedule a phone consultation. During this consultation, we will discuss locations, outifts, poses, how to incorporate your family's personality into your photos, and anything else you can think of! Your 50% deposit will be due immediately following this phone consult. 

 

Q:  What should I/we wear?

A:  Short answer? Whatever makes you smile! Long(er) answer: Aim for coordination, not matchy-matchy. Two coordinating colors, plus a neutral is usually a safe bet. (Examples: Blue, yellow, and grey, or burgundy, sage, and khaki.) The "everyone-in-blue-jeans-and-white-shirts" look is a bit out of date, but hey, if it makes you smile...go for it! There are lots of ideas on Pinterest, just do a search on "family portrait outfits." Most of all, don't stress, and have fun! Don't forget the extra pieces like quirky glasses, scarves, hats, and any other items of significance to your family.

 

Q:  Why can't I see the original images?

A:  Hand-editing and retouching is part of the overall creative process.  Unedited images do not fully represent the work that I do. Each image you receive is a one-of-a-kind work of art, created just for you.
